Suffolk Writers Group

Row of Beach Huts

In 2012, I founded the Suffolk Writers Group, which is a supportive, friendly community where new and established writers can explore their creativity. Most members are based in Suffolk, England, although we have many national and even international members who feel an affinity with the county and the creative community we have created here.

Our popular Suffolk Writers Group Facebook page features daily creative challenges and offers a place to chat about anything connected with reading and writing. If you’d like to become a member, click the icon below and request membership. If you have any problems, try searching for ‘Suffolk Writers Group’ on Facebook.

In celebration of creative talent in Suffolk and the surrounding counties, I’ve started a blog to highlight local literary heroes. Click the picture below to read the latest installment, which focuses on the novelist, musician, and poet Louis de Bernières

Below are three creative projects run by members of Suffolk Writers Group

Wild Words Suffolk – founded by Jane Spencer-Rolfe
One Million Haiku Challenge with Elisabeth Sherriff, Perry Jones, Sarah Nicholson, Cathryn Nuttall, and Mai Black
Poetry Anthology compiled and edited by Gary Milson
